What are the requirements?

WordPress 6.2 and PHP 7.4.

How many items are shown?

10 posts and pages (or custom post types) are shown.

Trashed items are not shown – because they can not be edited – so they are hidden.

Does it include custom post types

Yes it does! As long as the post type is public it is included.
